I contacted Jestina during the summer of 2017 for a referral for one of my clients to join Female of Empowerments’ Freedom Programme. Although the client did not have complex needs the client fluctuated between wanting a 1-2-1 session and group session and this was time consuming. Jestina was both patient and accommodating with the client’s requests and subsequently Jestina created a place for my client on the 12-week Freedom Programme. I found that Jestina tailored the programme to accommodate the client completing the course prior to her Case Conference Review – as this was required by Social Services. Although the Programme was not completed on my clients’ behalf (last 2 sessions) – due to a sudden family illness – I believe that the 3-way communication between myself, Jestina and the client was excellent. Having met Jestina at a network event re: Domestic Violence I will be recommending Females of Empowerment in the near future.

I am so pleased of how the Freedom Course was delivered. Initially my customer did not want to go on the course, so I was extremely pleased with how you made my customer feel valued from day one hence her completing the 12 week course. It aided my customer to grow in confidence and assertiveness. Thank you for offering such a wonderful, professional service and for making a difference in her life.

I feel that this course was helpful and gained my self confidence back. I now know my worth after being a victim of domestic abuse. I now know the warning signs and realise that my ex husband was the issue not myself. I would recommend this course and tutor to anyone.
